Automatic archiving of new reports in the student's school file

We have adopted the new primary reports and are very satisfied with them.

We would like to suggest an improvement concerning their archiving in the student file.

Until now, we used in Eduka a "School File" folder attached to each student, in which we archived all of their reports and exam results. Thanks to bulk document import, particularly for Pronote reports, this organisation was particularly efficient.

For families, the benefit is significant: when a student leaves the school, parents can find their entire academic history in a single space. For the school, this also makes it possible to significantly reduce the administrative work related to requests for reports from previous years.

With the new primary reports, viewing is now different: you must access the page dedicated to reports, then navigate school year by school year. We have therefore chosen to continue archiving a PDF copy of each report in our "School File".

However, the operation is quite cumbersome: export reports by class, rename files, then re-import into Eduka. The volume of exports also forces us to create multiple ZIP files, sometimes several for a single year group.

Would it be possible to consider a feature allowing reports generated to be transferred directly to a chosen document folder of the student?

Ideally, this transfer could:

  • be carried out in bulk for a year group;
  • allow selection of the destination folder;
  • automatically apply a customisable naming convention to the file name (for example: school – school year – year group – term – document type – last name – first name).

This would make it possible to retain the simplicity of the new reports whilst automatically maintaining a complete school file that is easily accessible for each student and their family.
