We use Google Calendar for all our calendars: it is our tool for distribution and daily collaboration, and it is unrealistic to re-enter these events in EduKa.

We suggest adding inbound synchronisation (Google Calendar → EduKa) in the Calendar module:
subscription to a calendar via its iCal URL, or Google Calendar connection via OAuth, with periodic refresh;
for each synchronised calendar, choice of EduKa audience (school, year groups, classes, groups, staff);
retrieval of the title, dates, time or all-day status, location and description;
one-way only, imported events remaining non-editable in EduKa to maintain a single source of truth.

EduKa would thus become the distribution channel for the school's calendars, without changing the tool in which they are produced.
