Eduka connects to Fatourati so Moroccan families can pay school fees through their bank app, an ATM, a bank branch or a payment agent — their outstanding fees looked up live from Eduka and the payment recorded against the right invoice automatically.
Why connect Eduka and Fatourati?
Fatourati is Morocco’s shared bill-payment network, reachable from virtually every bank’s channels. For families it means paying school fees the same familiar way they pay their other bills — no cash to bring in, no branch of your bank to find. For the school it means less cash handling, full traceability, and fees that reconcile themselves.
How does the integration work?
Eduka acts as the biller (créancier) on the Fatourati network through a secure REST API. When a parent looks up their school reference at any Fatourati point — their bank’s app or website, an ATM, a bank counter or an agent — Fatourati asks Eduka in real time for that family’s outstanding fees, and Eduka returns the unpaid invoices and installments to display. When the parent pays, Fatourati confirms the payment back to Eduka, which records it immediately against the matching invoice, installment or statement — with a daily reconciliation and duplicate protection so nothing is posted twice.
What Eduka handles
- Live bill presentment — a family’s unpaid invoices, payment-plan installments and statements are served to Fatourati on demand, always current.
- Any Fatourati channel — bank app or website, ATM, bank branch or payment agent, using the school reference.
- Automatic recording — each confirmed payment is linked to the exact invoice or installment it settles and posted to the family account in real time.
- Reconciliation and safeguards — payments are reconciled daily by business date, and duplicate confirmations are rejected.
Built for Moroccan school finance teams
The Fatourati integration is part of Eduka’s Finance module, which manages the full billing cycle for schools: fee schedules, invoicing, payments, reminders and reporting — so Fatourati collections land straight against the invoices they settle.
