Eduka exports your Australian school’s billing into MYOB Advanced — invoices, payments and receipts turned into import-ready accounting entries, detailed down to each fee and mapped to your accounts.
Why connect Eduka and MYOB Advanced?
MYOB Advanced is a cloud ERP widely used by growing Australian organisations, schools among them. Without an integration, finance teams re-key every invoice and receipt by hand — slow, error-prone, impossible to reconcile at scale. Eduka’s built-in MYOB Advanced export turns school billing into structured entries that import straight into your ledger.
How does the integration work?
MYOB Advanced is selected once as your accounting format in Eduka’s Finance module. The accounting export screen then produces MYOB-compatible files over a date range you choose: download, import, done. Each exported batch can be archived in Eduka, so the same entry is never posted to MYOB twice.
What data is exported?
- Invoices, fee by fee — each line carries its fee category, fee, fee level and fee code, plus the student’s fee rate, so your ledger sees exactly what was billed. Discounts and deductions are exported with their own coding.
- Payments and receipts — account, analytical account, amount and direction, with student and payer names and codes, receipt number, journal code and payment method.
- Payment allocation — each receipt records the invoice it settles and the amount allocated, so reconciliation in MYOB is automatic.
Built for school finance teams
The MYOB Advanced integration is part of Eduka’s Finance module, which manages the full billing cycle for schools: fee schedules, invoicing, payments, reminders and reporting. MYOB is one of many accounting packages Eduka exports to natively — alongside Xero, QuickBooks, Sage and others — so your school can keep its existing accounting setup.
