Finance module updates

Smoother day-to-day work

Manual and batch invoicing now open directly on the Search by student tab. Recording payments is simpler too, with a default import separator and an optimized display order for payers.

The family portal now gives a clearer overview, and advances from third-party payers are carried over.

More control, more customization

Finance reports gain new columns and new display options, including comments. The Online Shop Orders report also gains three new columns and printing options.

For business consistency, Online Shop invoices now follow the Finance calendar, and advance allocations are locked while a batch is being previewed: two safeguards for your operations.

Finally, all financial documents now use a new PDF library, for greater stability.

Administration

New School Trips module

Google Forms, spreadsheets, permission slips by email, coordinating the canteen and the bus… organizing school trips takes far too much of your time.

Not anymore. 

From the 2026/2027 school year, the new School Trips module brings everything together in Eduka: guided setup by the teacher, family consent through the parent portal, budget, approval, and above all native integration with Attendance, the Canteen, Transport and Finance. Once a trip is approved, the whole platform updates automatically, with no re-keying. 

Simple for your teachers, thorough for your teams, reassuring when it comes to compliance. 

Education

International Assessments

As part of its ongoing development of modules focused on school life and pedagogy, Eduka has enhanced the Assessments and Reports module, which now accommodates international schools outside the French system:

• Assessment frameworks and rubrics provided ready for use for the IB, the United States, the United Kingdom, and Singapore, in addition to the French model;
• Secondary assessment rubrics available to supplement the main rubric (e.g., Attitude toward Learning);
• Assessment of proficiency levels without the need for associated competencies;
• Competencies translated into a second language of your choice.

Also, coming soon in 2026/27: calculating weighted averages and generating grade reports.

IT

Single Sign-On arrives in Eduka

One Eduka login for the school’s entire digital environment = fewer passwords, less support. 

Eduka can become your school’s single authentication portal. With the SSO module, you connect your applications to Eduka and your users reach them in one click, without re-entering their credentials. 

The module is built on the open standards CAS and OIDC / OAuth2, with native support for Pronote and Moodle from the very first release. 

On the admin side: a dashboard for applications and sessions, real-time monitoring and session revocation, technical logs, access control by account type, and a killswitch to shut everything down in case of an incident. 

Social Media: Allies for Students?

For Liubov Darzhinova, a researcher at the University of Hong Kong, the first source of support for international students isn’t the orientation session — it’s their phone. WeChat, WhatsApp and Instagram are how they find housing, swap advice and build connections.

Organized into inclusive communities — and provided students can spot the scams — social networks become genuine tools for integration, opportunity and protection.

South Sudan: The Data Behind the Crisis

In one of the countries worst affected by displacement and conflict, UNESCO and its partners are supporting South Sudan in launching a data system dedicated to education in emergencies.

The goal: replace information that is currently fragmented and unreliable with a single system that makes displaced and vulnerable students visible, so resources can be targeted and the education response planned in the middle of a crisis.
