Why connect Eduka and Stripe?

Stripe is one of the world’s most widely used online payment platforms, supporting a broad range of currencies and payment methods. Without an integration, online payments arrive in a separate system and your finance team matches them to invoices by hand. With Eduka’s built-in Stripe integration, the whole journey stays inside your school management system: the parent clicks pay, and the receipt appears on their account — no manual reconciliation.

How does the Stripe integration work?

Stripe is enabled in the configuration of Eduka’s Finance module: select Stripe as the online payment platform for one of your school’s bank accounts and enter your API keys — a separate test mode lets you trial the setup safely. When a parent pays online, Eduka opens a secure Stripe Checkout page with their email pre-filled; card details are entered on Stripe’s servers and never pass through Eduka. Once Stripe confirms the payment through a cryptographically signed notification, Eduka verifies it and immediately records the receipt against the family’s invoices, in the school’s currency, with the Stripe transaction reference attached. Failed and cancelled payments are tracked too, and every transaction keeps a complete audit log.

What can families pay through Stripe?

Outstanding balances, invoices and installments — from the family’s finance page on the parent portal, covering the whole balance, selected invoices or a payment-plan installment.
Admission and application fees — collected during online enrollment in the Admissions module, with the invoice created automatically.
Activity and service subscriptions — the subscription is validated and invoiced automatically as soon as the payment clears.
E-wallet top-ups — parents credit the wallet used for canteen and online shop purchases.
SimplePay — Eduka’s simplified payment page for quick, secure payments.
