Eduka prepares your school’s service declarations and sends them to the municipality, which turns them into electronic service invoices (NFS-e). The integration is available for São Paulo and Brasília.
Why connect Eduka and NFS-e?
In Brazil, services, education included, must be covered by an electronic service invoice, the NFS-e. Without the right tool, the school prepares these declarations separately from its billing, with a risk of errors and double entry. Eduka produces them directly from the school’s invoices.
How does the integration work?
You select the invoices for the period, review each declaration, then send the batch to the municipality, signed with the school’s digital certificate. Before sending, Eduka checks that every required setting is filled in and flags anything missing. After sending, the municipality’s response is shown: the batch number and number of invoices processed, or the exact reason if something is rejected.
What the integration handles
- Support for the municipalities of São Paulo and Brasília
- Invoice selection by period, with a review before sending
- Batches signed with the school’s digital certificate
- Required settings checked before every submission
- Payers identified by CPF or CNPJ, foreign payers included
- Service codes configurable by fee category, plus the IBS/CBS codes from the tax reform for São Paulo
- History of submitted batches
The NFS-e integration is part of Eduka’s Finance module, which covers the school’s full billing cycle: fee schedules, invoices, payments, reminders and accounting exports.
